The New York Mets are based in New York City’s Queens borough. The team competes in the MLB’s National League East division along with Washington, Miami, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. The Mets are one of two New York City’s teams, the other being the Yankees. It was one of the first expansion teams founded in 1962. To date, the Mets have won two World Series titles, five NL Pennants, and six East Division titles. All home games are played at Citi Field.
