The PGA Tour is the main organizer of professional male golf tours played in North America. The Professional Golfers’ Association of America was spun off into an organization for tour players later in 1968. Most of the events are organized as part of its flagship annual tournaments collectively referred to as the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions; the latter is geared towards golfers over the age of 50. There is also the Web.com Tour which is for players who have not yet qualified to play in the main PGA Tour. There are also many region-specific events like the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, PGA Tour China, and PGA Tour Canada. Various other PGA Tour events are organized and run by the LPGA Tour for women, along with other professional tours for men and women internationally.
