Watch the Astros with a VPN
If you’re concerned about privacy and computer security these days you may want to consider streaming the Astros live via a VPN. They’re quite cheap and help protect you beyond sports viewing, too.
Streaming Astros Games Live on ROOT SPORTS
ROOT SPORTS air all Astros games in addition to the Timbers, Mariners, and Bulldogs, etc. However, the network does not have a standalone app which allows subscribers to stream via a smartphone or tablet PC. That said with most Pay TV services including ROOT SPORTS as part of their packages, and with an increasing number having their own streaming apps it’s possible to stream the channel online.
Live Streaming Astros Games on Fox
Fox also airs many Astros Games. The Fox Sports app should allow subscribers to stream the Astros live. However, that mainly depends on who your cable service provider is and where you’re located.
Watch the Astros Without Cable
Pay TV can be a bit of a hassle, and the coverage can be sketchy across some areas of the Midwest. Also, people who stay out a lot may want to subscribe to an online streaming service like AT&T TV NOW, Fubo or Sling TV. All three services are like regular cable only cheaper and portable.
